At Interpack Technologies, we manufacture industrial labelling machines and packaging equipment for businesses across India. This returns policy explains the conditions under which we accept returns and how the process works.
What we accept returns for
We accept returns only for defective products. A product is considered defective if it does not function as specified in the agreed product specifications, technical documents, or commercial terms at the time of delivery.
What we do not accept returns for
- Products that have been used, modified, or installed beyond a reasonable inspection
- Custom-engineered or made-to-order machines that meet the agreed specifications
- Products damaged due to improper handling, installation, transportation, or operating environment after delivery
- Consumable parts, sticker label rolls, or accessories once installed or used
- Products reported outside the return window
- Products without a valid Return Authorisation Number
Return window
Defective products must be reported within 7 days of delivery. Returns initiated after this window cannot be accepted unless the product is covered by a separate written warranty agreement.
How to initiate a return
- Email our team at info@interpacktechnologies.com with your order or invoice number.
- Include clear photographs and a written description of the defect.
- Wait for written approval and a Return Authorisation Number (RAN) from our team.
- Ship the product back to our facility, preserving the original packaging where possible.
Returns shipped without an RAN may not be processed.
Inspection and resolution
Once we receive the returned product, our quality team will inspect it within 5 to 7 business days. If the defect is confirmed, we will choose one of the following resolutions based on the nature of the defect, parts availability, and where applicable, your preference:
- Repair the product at no cost to you
- Replace the product with a working unit of the same model and specification
- Issue a refund to the original payment method
Refund processing
Approved refunds are processed within 7 to 10 business days from the date the resolution is agreed. Refunds are issued to the original payment method or bank account used for the purchase.
Exchanges
We do not offer product exchanges. If a product is found defective and approved for return, you may receive a repair, replacement of the same model, or a refund as described above. Swapping a delivered product for a different model, configuration, or specification is not supported under this policy.
Return shipping
For approved returns of defective products, return shipping costs within India will be borne by Interpack Technologies. Our team will arrange the logistics or reimburse pre-approved shipping charges. We do not reimburse return shipping for items that are not approved as defective on inspection.
Coverage
This returns policy applies to deliveries within India. International orders are governed by separate commercial terms agreed at the time of purchase.
